Ni Pa Vou Cards
Practice the intervals of the scales. You can say the pitch names or chant them on pitch. These cards are colored in order of the rainbow. Use this association to help you remember where you are in the scale. This will prepare you to read notation on parallage.

Greek Letter Cards
Learn the Greek letters that represent the pitches of parallagi. Practice going up and down the scale, up and down by one or up and down by two. Say the names of these cards (don't chant on pitch).

Interval Playing Cards
Learn to recognize the interval symbols. Start by learning their names and functions. Then combine interval symbol recognition with your knowledge of the scales (for example, an apostrophos means down one, so if you're on pa, you go down to ni). Finally practice executing the intervals on pitch.
